Summit4Seva: Hiking Pen y Fan for Khalsa Aid
Last year, a group of us decided to take on Snowdon together. It was tough, but with plenty of laughs, teamwork, and a few sore legs, we made it to the top—and the sense of achievement was incredible.
This year on Saturday April 19th 2025, a group of us wanted to challenge ourselves again, but with a bigger purpose! So, we’re taking on the Pen y Fan Horseshoe ridge hike as part of Summit4Seva, raising money for Khalsa Aid and the amazing work they do.
Khalsa Aid is an international charity that provides humanitarian relief to people in crisis—whether it’s delivering food and water to disaster-hit areas, supporting refugees, or offering help to communities in need. Their work is inspired by the Sikh principle of seva (selfless service), and they go wherever help is needed, no matter someone’s background, race, or religion.
From providing life-saving aid in war zones to supporting families affected by natural disasters, Khalsa Aid has been on the ground in some of the most challenging places in the world. They’ve set up refugee camps, delivered millions of meals, and provided clean water to entire communities. Their work is powered by kindness, generosity, and the belief that we all have a responsibility to help those in need.
We know this hike will test us, but it’s nothing compared to what so many people around the world go through every day. We’re walking to make a difference in any way that we can, and we’d love your support—every donation, big or small, will go a long way and be much appreciated!
