We’re a troop of Boy Scouts in Summit County Utah. And we have a pretty extraordinary opportunity, to go to the World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia… THIS summer.
The World Scout Jamboree happens only once every 4 years, in a different country.
This year Canada, Mexico, and the United States are hosting the Jamboree, and about 40,000 scouts from 161 countries will be there.
At the Jamboree we get to participate in high adventure activities like BMX biking, skateboarding, paddle boarding, rock climbing, zip lining, mountain biking, white water rafting, and So. Much. More.
We also get to develop leadership skills to help us become better men, and make new international friendships... that we hope will last a lifetime.
In order to go a scout has to be 14 to 17 years old, so this is really a once in a lifetime opportunity for us.
The cost to go, as a troop, is $128,000 (or $3200 each). Which is a lot of money for us to raise, and we aren't supposed to just ask our parents to pay for it all.
So we have to raise and earn the money needed, in order to go. And if we don’t raise or earn enough money - then we lose out. And we won’t be able to go to the Jamboree in West Virginia this summer. (July to be specific - which doesn’t give us much time)
So we need your help.
We’re working to earn as much money as we can by doing any service project we can find. If you happen to need your driveway shoveled, yard thatched, football stadium cleaned, or help with anything really… let us know, and we’ll come out and do it. (seriously)
We don’t have enough time to earn $128,000 doing just service projects though. So we need to RAISE the difference if we’re going to make it, and that’s another way YOU can help.

Every dollar you donate will help ensure ALL of us can go to the World Scout Jamboree this summer.
We can’t thank our parents enough, and all our local and national sponsors and backers - who’ve donated their time, resources, and money to helping us.
With their help we’ve already raised over $56,000.
And with your help we can raise the rest.
So have us come out and do a service project for you, or simply make a donation. Either works.
And as soon a we reach our goal of $128,000 we’ll all be able to go to the World Scout Jamboree this summer.
