Summer's Recovery Fund

Summer Miller-Walfish was recently diagnosed with a meningioma brain tumor following her return from Zambia Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer. The tumor was successfully removed in July, but recovery has been difficult and complications have recently occurred. At this time Summer has been re-admitted to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA where she is receiving the medical treatment she needs for hopefully, a full recovery. This is the time where Summer and her family need all the support they can get.

As many of you know, Summer is one of the kindest individuals you will ever meet, and she would give her last penny to someone else in need. Now, unfortunately, she needs the help of others. The goal of this campaign is to raise funds for Summer’s daily expenses during her recovery period. These expenses include meals, groceries, travel to and from the hospital, and minor medical bills. These funds are meant to alleviate some of the stressful financial burdens her and her family will incur over the next few months.
