Summer's dog Toki get treatment in PEI

Toki is Summer Hudson's 9 year old husky. After recently finding out that Toki needed some expensive vet visits in Charlottetown, Summer gave me permission to organize a GoFundMe to help support some of the very large upcoming vet bills. The current quote is around $4000. Summer is a well known entity at the Marigold and throughout Truro. She's a vibrant part of our community and needs a hand and some support so Toki can continue having a walk and treat filled life.

From Summer: "Toki is having problems with his lungs and has been dealing with laboured breathing. He’s been treated with lungworm medication, antibiotics, and steroids, but none of them have fixed his issue. At a recent checkup the vet said the last option for him would be to refer him to the AVC Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Charlottetown to have a procedure to get a sample of lung tissue so they can see what is going on. The referral estimate is $3-4k. The vet told me if I didn’t do the referral then she would suggest end of life for Toki."

That $3-4k estimate is outside of travel to and back. If you have the ability, it'd mean the world to Toki, Summer, and Alex to be able to do everything possible to care for Toki's health.
