Summer's Battle with Breast Cancer

As many of you know, my daughter Summer (Evans) Vickrey was diagnosed with Stage 2, triple negative breast cancer about 3 weeks ago. It's the aggressive kind that doesn't respond well to treatment. The Doctors said they needed to treat it as aggressive as possible to keep it from spreading, so she had her port put in for chemotherapy treatment on Thursday, December 30th. She will have her first chemo treatment tomorrow January 4th.

Summer and her husband Derrick (Lil D) and their 8- year- old daughter Sailor Rose lives in Dahlonega, Georgia. They will have to travel to Gainsville multiple times a week for treatments. Derrick is owner and tattoo artist at Holy Mountain Tattoo in Dahlonega and Summer is a stay- at- home Mom that homeschools Sailor Rose. Derrick is their only source of income, and he will be taking off numerous days to get her back and forth to her appointments. They currently have no insurance.

Several people have asked me about donating to her so I'm setting up this page for anyone who would like to make a donation to her and her family. Everyone has been so nice about checking on her and most of all praying for her and her family and her doctors. Keep the prayers coming because they do work.
