Summer Wood medical bills

The bravest of all! Our beautiful Summer❤️ Last Saturday Summer was spending her Saturday with her school friends
riding around the netball courts when a
freak accident happened! 

from Jess Facebook: “ The last 18 hours have been the most terrifying experience as a mother yet. Summer had a freak accident on her mountain bike, tripping on a tree branch whilst riding around the lagoon with her friends, she ended up with a stick as thick as my ring finger lodged in her eye socket, pushing her eyeball out and to the right. It was protruding and bleeding. Two ambulances rushed us to Sydney children’s for emergency surgery to save her eye and vision, and put everything in place and remove the stick. If the stick was any longer it could’ve been a lot        worse. The surgery finished in the middle of  the night with great success, her eye was saved and her vision should return    shortly. Her eye and eyeball have been     stitched up and there’s a long road ahead, more surgeries and doctors appointments, but we are so grateful the team of        amazing doctors did what they did! Thankyou to  the young girls involved for doing an incredible job helping me and the community of curl curl for everything they did then are still doing. We are so lucky to be part of such an amazing community xx” 

Jess is an amazing mother to 3 gorgeous,  kids, working full time, along with her partner Nick! 

With the upcoming doctors appointments and potential surgeries coming up, we want to help out and take a little bit of stress off the family! If you know the Wood family they are the first to offer any help to anyone, the most supportive individuals! 

Anything will help our gorgeous Summer and her family during these unexpected   Times! We are wishing them all so much love and sending positive thoughts their way ❤️
