For those of you who don't know me, my name is Benton White and I am a 16-year-old sophomore in high school. I am reaching out to you today to ask for your support in helping me achieve my dream of becoming a fashion designer by participating in CIEE's summer study abroad program in Paris, France.

During this trip, I will be able to experience the design process from conception to production, learning how designers work with patterns, sketches, and prototypes, which I will then use to create my designs. I will be studying market research, merchandising, and trend forecasting as well as learning the French language and its nuances. As a participant, I will be sitting in a front-row seat at a runway show in the Galeries Lafayette.

That's why I am asking for your help. Any amount you can donate will make a huge difference and bring me one step closer to achieving my dream. Your support will enable me to explore the vibrant fashion scene of Paris and immerse myself in its rich culture and history. I promise to use this opportunity to learn as much as I can, and to share my experiences with you when I return.
