We are Global Stem Academy, a non-profit organization educating students through fun activities in (S)cience, (T)echnology, (E)ngineering, (A)rt and (M)ath. Our classes take place in community centers, churches, schools and libraries. We want to provide stem education, and stem-related field trips to underserved youth in Miami-Dade County.

Global STEM Academy, has been a mobile STEM Academy for 7 years. Providing coding, engineering, science, math, and art classes in areas where students come from low-income families, and they don't always see a bright future. We want to change that.

Some of the projects we are currently working on are, Global STEM Career Day. We have had 7 locations, and we have an innovative way of bringing industry professionals to students in a fair setting. Before, students only saw two to three speakers. Our last event hosts 45 different industry professionals, from Engineers, Entrepreneurs, Doctors, Game Design Techs, Agricultural Pioneers etc. Students get to speak to all the professionals, so they can a panoramic view of what a career in STEM is like.
