Summer School Intensive - American Academy of Dramatic Arts

Hi, my name is Bradleigh, and I am fundraising to study with the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, on their Summer Intensive online programme in July this year.

I want to study on this programme because I want to be an advocate for people with disabilities, especially fellow disabled performers to advocate for their own work, and I think that this programme is perfect for me, because it will give me the firm foundation to progress towards their Associates' Degree programme & to be recognised as the serious performer that I am.

I have had meetings with the school to talk about what studying with them could look like, and they have been friendly & supportive of me as an artist and also as a disabled person, so I am fully confident that they would support me as a student.

I think that if I can do this, then I am setting a precedent that would allow the next disabled performer behind me to have an easier road.
