Hello, and thank you so much for visiting my page!
I am so excited to announce that I have been given the great opportunity to sing this summer at the Varna International Opera Academy in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. I have been cast in the role of Ms. Splinters in their mainstage production of Aaron Copeland's The Tender Land under Maestro Dian Tchobanov. I have also been asked to sing the Alto solo in Mozart's Requiem, and to solo in the French Opera Gala with the Stara Zagora State Opera Orchestra and Chorus.
A bit about my background...I began my musical training when I was 16 at Interlochen Arts Academy, studying with Jeff Norris. Following graduation, I began my Bachelors of Music degree at the Chicago College of Performing Arts as an Oliver J Ditson Music Scholar. I am currently in my third year of my degree, studying with Judith Haddon.
The prospect of being able to continue to learn and grow as a musician this summer is so exciting to me! However, I'll only be able to attend this program with financial assistance!
