Summer Internship Expenses

Dear friends and family!
**I sincerely need your help in supporting my path towards working in the international development arena combating poverty especially in the sub-Saharan region of Africa. No donation is too small and may God richly bless you for it**
As some of you may know, I am currently pursuing an MA in International Affairs at Penn State with a focus on International Economics and Development Policy and recently received an offer to spend the summer interning at World Vision International in Washington D.C. This internship presents a great opportunity for me to get some work experience in the field pursuing work that I am not only passionate about, but that benefits the global community as a whole.
I have however come up against a brickwall due to the expenses involved in order for me to pursue this opportunity as World Vision can only offer a $250 monthly stipend for the duration of the internship and this is before any taxes are deducted. The approximate expenses I will incur are as follows:
*Curricular Practical Training (CPT) - $1500
*Housing - $1800
*Utilities - $225
*Transportation - $600
*Food - $750
This brings me to a total of about $4875 and deducting what I currently have in my savings along with the stipend I still come up about $3000 short. I really hope that with your help I can raise this difference and be able to contribute to Information and Communications Technologies for Development (ICT4D) research this summer.
