Summer camps for underprivileged youth

We're raising money to benefit the students at New Treks, a Denver-based nonprofit under Becket Academy Inc. We are trying to send at least five of our students to their first-ever summer camp, completely free of charge, and we need your help to get them there! We work with underprivileged teens to make the outdoors more accessible; many of our students have never left the city of Denver, and few have had the opportunity to explore the outdoors because of the many barriers they face. Two of our students are attending a month-long camp in Minnesota, where they will get to sail, climb, hike, mountain bike, and more! Your donation will help subsidize the costs of their camp and provide them with the proper equipment. In addition, we want to offer at least three full-ride scholarships so other students can attend week-long climbing, paddling, or backpacking camps in Colorado. Your donation will help students get to experience their first summer camp, where they can discover healthier outlets, grow in confidence, and explore the outdoors.
