Hello, my name is Krsna-Rani—some know me as Marcela. I am Karuna’s wife; some also know him as Leandro. I have created this fundraiser to help cover all the medical expenses he needs after the traffic accident that happened just 24 hours ago.

Karuna must undergo surgery on his left leg at the femur due to multiple open fractures. They will need to place plates and screws in his leg, and after that, he will require rehabilitation and physical therapy. The other injuries Karuna has are more “cosmetic,” but they will also need treatment.

With everything that has happened, I have had to put my work activities on hold, which are what support much of our day-to-day life. I don’t know how long I’ll be able to continue doing so. I am torn between fulfilling my job and fulfilling my commitment to my husband—to care for him, love him, and be by his side—even though he cannot hear me right now and does not know that I am here. But I am.

Please help with whatever you can. Everything adds up. Everything helps. In addition to prayers, which are the best help, although hospital care, doctors, medications, and therapies are not covered by prayers.

Hola, mi nombre es Krsna-Rani, algunos me conocen como Marcela, soy la esposa de Karuna también algunos lo conocen como Leandro. Y he creado esta recaudación de fondos para poder sostener y cubrir todos los gastos médicos que él necesita, luego del accidente de tránsito que pasó hace apenas 24h

Karuna debe ser intervenido quirúrgicamente en su pierna izquierda a nivel del fémur por una fractura múltiple expuesta. Deberán poner placas y tornillos en su pierna, y luego de esto él deberá hacer rehabilitación y fisioterapia. Las demás lesiones que Karuna tiene son más “estéticas” pero también deberán tratarse.

Con todo esto que ha pasado, yo he tenido que poner en pausa mis actividades laborales que son las que ayudan a sostener mucho de lo que vivimos día a día. Y no sé por cuánto tiempo podré seguir haciéndolo. Estoy dividida entre cumplir con mi trabajo y cumplir con mi compromiso con mi esposo que es de cuidado, amor y compañía, aunque él no me escuche ahora y no sepa que yo estoy. Pero estoy.

Por favor ayuda con lo que puedas. Todo suma. Todo es ayuda. Además de las oraciones que son la mejor ayuda, aunque para el hospital, médicos y medicinas y terapias no se cubren con oraciones.

Confío en que Dios nos ayudará a salir de esta. Así como hemos pasado tantas otras pruebas. Pero, debo reconocer que necesito de ayuda, necesitamos de su ayuda.
