Suleyman's family

Hi, My name is Ercan Nalkiran, Suleyman's Employee who I hired in 2015.

Suleyman Dolek was our co-worker, friend, brother, exquisitely gifted repairman, and father to 13-year-old Goksu 20-year-old Gokay 21-year-old Deniz and a loving husband of Elif whom he met, and fell in love with during the night of 1999 earthquake in Istanbul at a park.

Suleyman got his green card and started to work with Ercan Nalkiran in The Rugman of Santa Fe diligently in the last 7 years. His goal was to bring his family to the prosperity that he saw in the USA. As a high school dropout, he wanted his children to go to college one day. Till his family waited for their turn to get their green cards he couldn't stop talking about them and his longing for them. When his family finally got here last spring, their sweet apartment was ready for them to start a new life. Soon after Suleyman started having health problems, of the fear of mountainous medical bills here he decided to go back to Istanbul to get relief. He was diagnosed with lung cancer, and the tumor was removed successfully but he never came out of the induced coma and passed away on the 7th of February in the early hours as the major earthquake hit southern Turkiye.

His family is left with medical bills, not knowing how to navigate in a new country without help, needless to say, the pain of losing their beloved father and husband. Please help this beautiful family to elevate their burden by whatever amount you can. Let's welcome them to their new lives with the kindness of our hearts.
