At Sul Ross State, we don’t just play as a team; we live as a family. And right now, one of our brothers is in the toughest match of his life. Our teammate, Brady Wade, was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in his femur. If you know Brady, you know why we call him a 'Dog.' On the pitch, he’s the one who never stops running, never backs down from a challenge, and outworks everyone. He’s got that relentless hunger and grit that defines Sul Ross soccer. Now, he’s taking that same 'dog' mentality into his fight against cancer.
While Brady is busy outworking this diagnosis, the mounting medical bills and travel costs for treatment shouldn't be a burden his family carries alone. Every dollar raised through this GoFundMe goes directly to Brady’s fight, which will cover specialized chemotherapy and medical treatments, travel and lodging for hospital visits, and physical therapy and recovery costs.
The culture we have instilled in our team is that no one stands alone. We’re calling on the Alpine community, our alumni, and the soccer world to join the Lobo pack. Every contribution is a 'goal' for Brady’s recovery. No amount is too small. Please donate and share this page to support Brady. Let’s show him he’s got an entire stadium behind him.
FOR THE ALPINE COMMUNITY-
To register for the soccer camp for Brady, please donate a minimum of $25 for entry. Please contact me with the name and age of the person attending the camp so we can register them. Anyone from 6-14 years of age is welcome. Thank you!
