Suicide Prevention 4x4x48
Tax deductible
This 4x4x48 challenge is dedicated to friend and brother, Drew Wendler. If you or someone you know has struggled with suicidal thoughts, attempts, or if you have lost a loved one to suicide, please help me bring awareness and prevention. You can participate by joining me for any leg of this 4x4x48 challenge on May 21st-23rd, or donate any amount to help prevent mental illness from ending in suicide.
What is a 4x4x48? It's running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. I know, this is going to be hard. I know, this is going to be miserable. I planned to do something this drastic because suicide is drastic. I want to bring awareness to how tormenting and difficult suicide is for those who are in the midst of their own mental health struggles and for those are left to grieve a death of suicide. There is hope.
I'm raising money to benefit American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
1 person every 40 seconds take their own life. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for those ages 15-24 years old. Visit the AFSP website for information about The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) which is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide.
