Suicide Awareness Ride's mission is simple – to provide a platform to heal, shift public perception, spread hope, and share vital information to people affected by suicide. Our goal is ensuring that individuals, friends, and families have access to the resources they need to discuss suicide prevention and to seek help.
What started as a one-time ride in memory of loved ones lost to suicide, has become a powerful annual movement. Now in its 5th year, the 3-Day SuicideAwareness Bike Ride, founded by Victor Banales & Mike Malicdem, has created a growing platform for survivors, supporters, and advocates to take action, build community, and speak up about mental health.
All net proceeds from our 3-day Suicide Awareness Charity Bike Ride will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, directly supporting their mental health programs for veterans. These programs provide life-saving resources such as counseling, peer support, and resilience training to help service members cope with post-traumatic stress, depression, and other invisible wounds of war. Your support will help ensure our nation’s heroes receive the care, connection, and hope they need to heal and thrive.
