Help Me Keep a Roof Over My Son’s Head After Losing His Mother

I never imagined I’d be writing something like this. A few days ago, my son lost his mother — and I lost someone who was a huge part of our lives. Watching him try to understand why she’s gone has been the hardest thing I’ve ever faced. I had to take time off work to be there for him, to hold him through all of this, and to help him find some sense of comfort in a world that suddenly feels so empty.

But now, the bills will be stacking up, and I’m trying not to fall behind. I’m doing everything I can, but I’m scared — scared of not being able to keep a roof over our heads, scared of letting my son down when he needs me most.

With that being said, I’m asking for help not because I want to, but because I have to. Every little bit means more than I can ever put into words. It would give us a bit of breathing room and help me focus on being there for my son while we try to find our way through this heartbreak.
