Our dear friend Alexis is a mother of two beautiful children ages 7 and 5. On the morning of July 9th, as they were getting ready to leave their home, her children alerted her that there was smoke coming from the laundry room. She rushed to check and saw that their dryer was on fire. She immediately got her babies out of the house and called for help.
Thankfully, they all made it out safely, but their Queen Creek home was declared unlivable. They lost their belongings and have been displaced ever since, currently living in a hotel with no set date for when or if they can return. Unfortunately, they did not have insurance on the property, which has made their situation even more difficult.
Amidst this huge trial, her husband has chosen to part ways from Alexis and their two children and is not helping with finances. He took the only car they had.
We are asking for help, whether it’s through donations, sharing this post, or keeping them in your prayers. Anything you can give will go directly toward helping them with temporary housing, food, hygiene items, purchasing a used car, and replacing items they lost in the fire.
She has asked me to thank you from the bottom of her heart. Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting her in this critical time of need. Every bit of kindness helps them take one step closer to stability again.
