Help Sophie fight cancer

Dear friends and family, the Stone family needs our help…

We are writing this on behalf of our friend, Sophie. Sophie is so many things to so many people but first and foremost, she is Mom to Dominic and wife to Brandon.

On December 15th, Sophie and her family got the devastating news that no seemingly healthy 31-year-old mom hopes to receive. Sophie has been diagnosed with colon cancer that has metastasized to the liver. The news was shocking and terrible, we knew the roads would be tough but there was never a doubt in our minds that she would get through it. Shortly after, she developed blood clots in both her legs which she was managing. Four weeks later, she was rushed to the hospital where they discovered she was having a pulmonary embolism and that her cancer is stage 4. This is going to be a long road of recovery for Sophie. We need to be encouraging and optimistic, not only for her but for her entire family.

In the past few years alone, the Stone family has been through a lot. The sudden passing of Brandon's brother, family illnesses and a pandemic wedding which got postponed more times than Sophie wants to talk about. The light at the end of this very narrow tunnel has been the birth of their extremely precious little boy Dominic on March 7th 2022 which has brought so much joy into their lives. A little boy who deserves to have his mom and dad around to watch him grow. We all need our sarcastic, reality TV-holic Sophie around longer.

Anyone who knows Sophie knows she is a fighter, who is stubborn which makes her stronger than anyone of us and the most level-headed of them all. When the rest of us are breaking, she's the one who keeps us together. Now it's our turn to be strong for her.

Sophie will not be able to return to work after her maternity leave is over and Brandon is by her side, taking a leave of absence from work to ensure that both she and Dom are taken care of. Brandon and Sophie, are always around to make sure everyone is okay and taken care of. They both have the most caring hearts! They never ask for help themselves, however, we want to ensure that they are taken care of during this chapter of their lives. We are asking, for you to help them now in their time of need.
