For mother’s funeral-Lourdes Arita

Hello, my name is Jonathan Torres I am starting this fundraiser for my mom Lourdes Arita that just passed away yesterday at the HCA Conroe regional Hospital. She first came to the hospital due to being tested positive to covid and having problems breathing. They found she had fluid in her lungs also known as Pneumonia, was long a month of her battling and being so strong; they discharged her the 18th of this month, on Friday. Just for her to start having back pains Saturday and Sunday and to return back to the hospital Sunday morning. They then did a CT scan and found she had Pus or a Cyst in one of her lungs. This is where me and my family are filled with raged knowing that HCA conroe regional let my mom go without throughly checking her or doing a CT scan before discharging her from their care. She was taken care of in the first floor from Monday to Wednesday and we checked on her daily and she let us know she was feeling good she was genuinely happy watching tv and really responsive until Thursday morning at 12:46 on her phone we saw she was calling her family member maybe calling for help. At 8am a friend came by to the hospital to visit her and to find out she was in the third floor in the ICU on life support, the hospital did not call any of our family members letting us know that she was moved into the ICU. The hospital also is not giving us a definitive answer on the cause of her death. We are demanding a Autopsy to be done and they are making it seem as if it was optional and telling us to go and pay out of pocket with another company that they are recommending. We have hired a lawyer to demand answers to this horrible hospital we don’t care about the money I just don’t want to live with thinking and thinking on how my mother passed away and peacefully lay her to rest. My mom has always been the most caring, loving, and joyful mother. She was always there for us, all I could ever ask for. She always took care of us with her beautiful laugh and smile.
