Welcome to the Sugar short film fundraising campaign! My team and I are very excited to share this project with you and to bring you along as a collaborator. Every penny counts, and we can’t thank you enough for your support. Together we will make this film come to life.

Sugar is a short film portraying the intersection of individuals in everyday life. On occasion, you come across people when you least expect it, not knowing their stories or what they have endured. In this piece we breathe life into those stories, creating a world that allows us to glimpse at the moments that have shaped these characters’ lives.

We observe Henry (early 20's) as he takes a journey into the woods to follow a river to it's mighty source: a waterfall. During his walk, Henry recalls memories of past trips, identifying with his younger self. As he reaches the overlook to the waterfall, Henry finds he is in the company of 2 others: a mother and her daughter. As eye contact is made, the audience is taken on a journey to see the tumultuous past of the pair and what has resulted from that turmoil.
