I (Matthew) am currently navigating a sinking ship of a small business, during a period of high inflation and other socioeconomic pressures.

I have finally swallowed my pride, and am here with full transparency and honesty regarding this fundraiser.

I do not know what I would do without Isabella. She has been the focal point of my day, since she entered my life. Speaking of life, lately it has been kicking me in the teeth and won’t let up. I am like a one legged man in an a** kicking contest. I do know, that I have the strength and tenacity to see this through. Nothing good comes easy, and I am always up for a challenge.

Those who know me, understand that I am the type of person who constantly places others in front of myself. I tend to nurture, protect, and serve without expectation or reimbursement. I connect dots, make introductions, help with physical labor, provide words of encouragement, and can surely crack a joke that will make you laugh.

Over the past 6 years I have built two Santa sleighs from scraps, placed on top of dirt bike and utility trailers. I use the SLEIGH for my charity events called XMAS4MISFITS. These events (held at the end of the calendar year) collect clothing, food, hygienic products, and XMAS gifts for those in need.

I believe in a higher power, yet still uncertain what that power is. I do know this force is stronger than I will ever be. One must have faith in some type of higher being to tread through the shit show we all call life.

It is extremely hard for me to ask for help. However, now is the time that my family needs help.

Isabella was adopted roughly two years ago during a snowstorm. Heather and I had recently laid our bubs Banjo and Felix to rest, and were on the hunt for a new companion. Heather told me a BELGIAN MALINOIS was out of the question. We decided another house panther is what we needed in our lives. While combing many adoption sites, we saw a picture of ISA, during the first snow of October 2023. We raced down to the city and county animal shelter, and signed the papers.

Our two year old house panther has had a rough go with her health the last 6 months. Causing a good bit of financial pressure. As of 11/25/2025, we have racked up $8236.34 in debt. This includes overnight hospital stays, emergency room visits, blood and lab tests, extremely expensive pharmaceuticals and other related costs. Heather and I expect the total tab to be around 12K dollars. Isabella has a weak immune system, and we expect going to the VET will be a recurring theme.

Simply put, my family needs help.

Any donation, no matter how small or large will be greatly appreciated.

Below is a timeline of ISABELLA’s health struggles:

7/25/2025 – Surgical removal of a microchip-site injection sarcoma. Pathology results came back non-cancerous.

10/18/2025– Became ill (stopped eating, lethargic). Taken to VEG ER where she was given IV fluids and had bloodwork done. A transfer to Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital for monitoring was recommended. She stayed overnight, showed some improvement, and was picked up the next day.

10/21/2025 – Dropped off for an ultrasound. Nodules were discovered on her spleen. Awaiting cytologist’s report.

10/25/2025 – Aspirate results came back no cancer. Met with the internal medicine doctor to discuss possible diagnosis.

10/29/2025 – Bloodwork showed high globulin levels, suggesting possible infection.

10/30/2025 – Under anesthesia, samples (aspirates) were taken from her liver and spleen.

10/31/2025– While awaiting results, the doctor initiated treatment for possible toxoplasmosis with antibiotics and anti-nausea medication. Aspirate results expected the following week, with possible concern for FIP (feline coronavirus).

11/7/2025 – Liver and spleen aspirates revealed non-specific inflammation and no signs of cancer. FeCoV (feline coronavirus) blood test came back positive, indicating exposure to the virus that can potentially mutate into FIP.

11/11/2025 – Began treatment for FIP using GS-441524 (“Liquid Gold”), administered twice daily.

11/20/2025 – Follow-up appointment scheduled for bloodwork and weight check.
