Dear friends and family,
Over the summer I was laid off due to the hard economic impact of COVID-19 and have been aggressively searching for and applying to every type of job I am qualified and experienced to do, which are many, but have been striking out. I'm now out of money to pay the rent and bills which have accumulated. I also have my nephew living with me, a special-needs college student, who depends on me for a home. With no unemployment benefits and empty bank accounts, and no assets, I am here asking you to please help us. I was just hired (5 Dec) for part time work, and while it's something I am grateful for, is still minimal, so any financial assistance you can share to help me get back on my feet will be happily and graciously appreciated. The funds will go directly to keeping the roof over our heads and the lights on. To say this experience has given me a profound, yet painful, learning experience would be an understatement. I'm a believer that when one door is closed, a window will be opened. Please help me open that window. I am grateful for your kindness and generosity and wish you a blessed holiday season. Thank you.
Mary
