As many of you know, the largest protest in history is currently occurring in India. 2 years ago, I went sugar free for the month of February to raise money for cancer research. This February, I will be raising money for our Kisaans in India. With the money raised, my family members in India who are currently partaking in this protest will be gathering essentials and distributing them to the protestors in Delhi. (Food, toiletries, clothing, etc.) This is a subject in which has affected many of us. Since there is not much we can do here in Canada, let’s all continue to raise awareness and keep our eyes on India. I’m sacrificing sugar for the month to raise awareness.
