Sue’s Spine Surgery

Hello, my name is Keara Friesen and I am Neil and Sue Walls daughter. My mom runs Suave Sugaring and is the absolute best mom and gramma! However, recently, she has been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and requires a disc replacement at the L5-S1 to relieve daily pain and improve quality of life. Because of this, she has been unable to work for several months now, and unable to make an income. The hospitals here in Canada have stated that surgery will be unavailable for many months if not years and won’t be an option now until it is a real emergency (a state we do not want to reach). Mom and dad have flown to Mexico to an amazing doctor who has agreed to perform the disc replacement asap which is a huge blessing, but the surgery costs are still somewhat of a burden especially having both of them there for the 3 week recovery time and not bringing in an income.
