There are many important people in my life, but these three are, and will always remain the most important. There is nothing that I wouldn't sacrifice, or do for each of these precious faces.
I've never been one to easily ask for help, but Susan has made this a very easy pill for me to swallow. One of her last request's of me was to come to this site and accept the overwhelming generosity offered by friends, family and honestly, people I've never met. Susan and I were in awe of how many of you wanted to help.
From the very onset of cancer seven years ago, Sue's biggest concern remained our financial situation after she is no longer here; The remaining medical bills, mortgage, Aubrey and Paitlyn's typical raising costs, all the way to college costs. She never stopped bringing it up, nor stopped looking at different ways we could improve our financial situation.
Sue went thru so much in those seven years. Diagnosed with breast cancer while 8 months pregnant with our second child, she NEVER once complained about any of the radiation, chemotherapy treatments or numerous procedures. She battled and "charged on" every step the way with full intentions of beating the cancer. She fought with all the tenacity she could muster, until her body could take no more. We broken heartedly lost Susan on Tuesday the 27th of February, 2018. Sue is my champion & my hero, I will honor every one of her wishes to the best of my ability.
I can't thank you enough - even if you only came to this page to read a little bit of our life, it brings me joy that you've seen her face, I just wholeheartedly wish you could have met and known Sue, as your life would be just a bit richer.
