Sue's Stroke Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On 10/3 my mom, Sue, had a stroke affecting the left side of her body; immobilizing her left arm and leg. Since then, she's been in rehab and is working hard and making progress.
However, recovering from a stroke is no small task. Sue still has a long way to go as she relearns how to do basic tasks like sitting up, standing, and using the left side of her body, and anticipates some large medical bills over the course of the next year.
The first three months after a stroke are the most important for recovery and when patients will see the most improvement. Sue is currently at a sub-acute rehab facility and the average cost is $10k a month.
I'm setting up this page because a few people have reached out to me asking how they could help financially, If you'd like to contribute to her recovery fund, it would be so appreciated!
If you can't, all of the phone calls, texts, pictures, and flowers have kept Sue's spirits high and her motivation up!
