Sue Jackson Fundraiser

Sue Jackson has been there for our horses, always. Now it is our turn to be there for Sue.

Sue's beloved husband and treasured companion in all of their life's work passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Salvatore "Sal" Di Maggio died suddenly and unexpectedly and has left Sue bereft. They had their last ride together on the eve of his passing, and Sue is very grateful for this memory of shared time with their horses.

Sal was a gifted farrier and horse trainer who greatly influenced those who had the good fortune to have Sal work on our horses and advise us on their care. Sal was Sue's personal Italian chef cooking up delicious recipes such as Cioppino for their Friday suppers together. Sal was a capable mechanic and could fix most things on their property. Sal cared for Sue in so many ways so she could give tirelessly to the rest of us and our horses through her work as a certified equine sports massage therapist.

Sue and Sal rarely talked of their own needs as very private people. As some of you may remember, Sue battled a significant health issue that put her life at risk a few years ago. She managed to come through it and committed to expanding her business to bring more of her talents to serve her clients and their equine partners in reaching their performance (or pleasure) goals. Sue rebranded as EquiPrep4All, LLC and now provides individualized reconditioning programs in addition to her equine massage therapy.

Sue needs our help to care for her health, animals, and property while dealing with this sudden, tragic loss. Let's give Sue lots of love and support.
