To Sue Friedmann's friends, family and colleagues. This is an update (2021) to Sue and John Friedmann's battle with Sue's dementia.
Some of you may know that in 2010, at the age of 54, Sue was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. This dementia attacks more than memory. FTD causes destruction of behavior and personality. There is no treatment; there is no cure.
Early on, even though Sue was steadily declining, John was able take care of her and keep her at home. Since 2017, Sue has been in 24-hour-a-day, one-on-one care.
Remembering the active and vibrant person that Sue was, the goal of this GoFundMe campaign is to help Sue continue to live in a safe, comfortable and caring environment.
Thanks, in advance, for all your support.
