Sue DePaul Decabo Medical Expenses

My dear friend Sue DePaul Decabo is in need of financial assistance to help with the extraordinary costs of the medical bills she has and will be incurring.

Two years ago Sue went in for back surgery to relieve the pain she was experiencing. This surgery did not work, as her pain worsened with each passing day. One year later she was unable to walk without a walker. Sue was unable to venture out of the house without a wheelchair. Sorry to be so vivid, but the hardware (screws) inside were beginning to actually become pronounced and visually prominent down her back. Sue found herself unable to stand upright.

Knowing she couldn’t possibly live with this degree of agony she searched the country for a fine Doctor who might be able to help her. Sue will be undergoing extensive spinal corrective surgeries. Recuperating will be long and painful and will include rehabilitation, physical therapy in and out of her home. Sue will be sidelined for a year or more. She will be unable to work. She will be unable to care for herself or her family.

Sue and I have been friends, actually more like family, our entire lives. We lived next door while growing up from the time we were 6 months old and have remained close. Sue is proud and not one to ask for help, although help is exactly what she needs, as she faces another painful, beyond difficult year ahead.

If you are so inclined to help Sue and her family as they struggle to keep up with the bills due to this very unfortunate medical tragedy it would be most sincerely appreciated.

Please pray that she continues to find competent medical professionals who can make her whole again. Please pray that she continues to exude strength while she’s feeling so vulnerable and weak.
