Sue Cannell's legacy..

If you had the pleasure of knowing Sue Cannell, you’ll be fully aware that she was the most loving, caring and warm person you’re ever likely to have met. She was a beautiful soul who always put everyone else first, and life is simply never going to be the same without her.

In 2019, when Sue was still fit and healthy, she was moved to tears by the story of BBC presenter Dianne Oxberry, who passed away at the age of 51 just days after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of ovarian cancer.

Tragically, on 19 September 2021, Sue would succumb to the exact same dreadful disease just two-and-a-half years after Dianne passed away. Sue faced up to the illness with characteristic dignity and selflessness to the end, expressing concern only for those around her.
