Sue Blanchard of Scarborough Maine was diagnosed with a rare lung condition and is in need of a double lung transplant. Sue is receiving care at Duke University Hospital and is on the lung transplant list.
Sue is a lifelong Scarborough resident involved in the community and loves working with children and spending her days working at Blue Point Elementary School. Sue also works at the Maine Veteran’s home supporting the elderly community.
Sue’s family has set up this fundraising page as a location where people can donate if they choose. The donations will help Sue transition back home and help offset some of the medical expenses such as costly ongoing medications.
Sue has a community of family and friends rooting for her as she starts the difficult journey and the challenging road to recovery.
