For those who know Troy, you don’t need me to tell you that he is an AMAZING
husband, father and friend. What I do
need to tell you is he is facing
some significant medical challenges.
More so than he ever has before.
Since 11/21, Troy has been in three
different hospitals (he even took a
helicopter ride from one to another), has had several surgeries over that time and now we hope he will be moving to
Hospice of Frederick County within the
next couple of days.
While we are EXTREMELY hopeful Troy will be able to walk out of Klein House;
the out of pocket expenses that
come with staying in such a place are
astronomical. This creates an even
greater burden placed on his wife Cat,
which is why I have created this page.
I know so many of us want to help their
family; which is so very evident from the many texts and phone calls I’ve received from so many of you asking ways you can help. Cat and the kids are very grateful
for all the love and kindness you all have shown for them—they can’t thank you
enough.
However, they do need our help in a very fundamental and real way. Contributions in any amount will go a long way in
helping them bear the burden of these
unexpected and significant costs for his
necessary medical care and comfort
during this time.
If you are in a position to help, please join me in doing so. Whatever you give is
truly a blessing and very much
appreciated.
This is the most Phenomenal family. They are great friends to many of us. You all
know Troy, Cat, Keagan and Cade; you
know exactly what I’m talking about. So, please help to take some bit of worry
and strain off of them during this really
difficult time they are going through. I
know without a doubt they would do it
for your family.
Thank you,
Kris Stevens
(...if you’d like updates on Troy, I’d be
happy to email you as I get them...please, PLEASE do not call or text Cat. She is
very busy speaking with Troy’s doctors
and she and her phone need to stay
open). Thanks for your understanding.
