My name is Kennon, and on July 22, 2025, at 8:32 p.m., my family’s world changed forever. My daughter passed away suddenly, and now my family and I are stepping in to raise her 7 beautiful children.

This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever faced as a father and grandfather. No one is ever ready for something like this, but we’re doing everything we can to make sure these kids feel safe, loved, and supported.

Four out of the seven children will be staying with me and their aunts and uncles. Right now, I’m raising money to remodel the basement of my home to turn it into a bedroom for them. We’ve got the space — it just needs some work to make it livable and comfortable. Our goal is to create a warm, beautiful home environment where they can start healing and adjusting to this new chapter of life.

We’re also in need of a lawyer. We want to make sure we can legally care for these kids, enroll them in school, and get them into therapy and other support services they need. These children have been through so much already — they deserve peace, stability, and a future.

Any help you can give — whether it’s $5 or a prayer — means the world to us. This isn’t easy to ask for, but I believe in the power of community. If you’re able to give or share this, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We’re going to make it through this together.
