On October 12, the world lost a beautiful soul. Julie left us too soon at only 57 years old. She was first admitted to the hospital in May, and battled necrotizing pneumonia all summer. She was on life support for over a month, and doctors had told her family that she would not make it. But her family knew how strong of a woman Julie was and how she would never have given up on life.

So they never gave up on her, and miraculously she defeated all odds, and was recovering. She proved she was a fighter, and after being on life support, she battled 2 more months of intensive care. She was finally released from her final hospital stay a week ago.

All she wanted was to go get better so she could go home to her family and play with her 4 grandbabies. She was so happy, so grateful to be home. She lit up her house and the hearts of her family. They had all thought the worst was over and could celebrate victory for having Julie home after a hard, hospital filled summer.

Which is why after all that battling and overcoming, her very sudden passing was a shock to everyone and has left her family devastated.

She will be remembered always as the loving mother of 4 children and doting Grammy of 4 grandchildren. Your donations would go directly to helping the family pay for medical expenses and services to honor Julie’s beautiful life.
