This week we lost Susan Baker to complications from surgeries to remove a cancerous brain tumor, which she only just learned about a few weeks prior. Susan was strong and brave and ready to go home last Tuesday (Valentine’s Day) when complications occurred. The loss of Susan is shocking and devastating. Susan leaves her adoring daughter Mihret, the light of her life. and her ever-loving and supportive husband Martin.

Susan was always the first to sign up to organize, volunteer, and support.

Susan worked hard as a producer and has been an important part of nonprofit and documentary production. all to bring awareness and good to the world. Susan was passionate about her writing and was working on bringing her work to print. She had a beautiful laugh and was loved by so many far and beyond. She was strong, straightforward, and kind. She will be greatly missed in the community.

This Fundraiser is created with the intent of supporting the unforeseen sudden expenses of this passing and to help carry Susan to her final destination of resting, Ohio (home).

It was Susan's wish to go, and we will do our best to fulfill her wishes.

To honor Susan in a celebration of life, and remember the amazing woman she was.

Susan also had dreams of having a college fund for Mihret, so we will assure that a part of the funds raised is set aside for this.
