Sudden Loss of Mylah: Please Help Support Her Family
Donation protected
On January 5, 2025, my heart was broken when we lost my beloved aunt, Mylah, to complications from a sudden stroke. She was only 53 years old—far too young to be taken from us. In an instant, we lost a daughter, a sister, a mother, and a best friend.
To give you an idea of the kind of person she was…
Mylah was a kind and caring nurse for over 25 years. She spent her life helping others, and many of her patients still remember her with thanks and appreciation.
Mylah also had a love for life. She was a true foodie, always finding new restaurants and flavors to share with her friends and family. Her laugh was contagious, and her stories could light up any room.
Now, the family she loved so much is left to deal with this sudden loss. Among them is her only daughter, my best friend Cianna, who has lost not just her mother, but her lifelong best friend. The pain and sadness Cianna is feeling right now is more than anyone should have to bear, and the weight of everything that must be done without Mylah’s love and support is overwhelming.
I’m creating this GoFundMe because my best friend is facing more than anyone should have to. The heartbreak of losing her mother is so much for her to carry, and she doesn't even know where to start with all the things that need to be done. She is struggling to focus on funeral plans and arrangements during this incredibly hard time. This is when she should be able to lean on others for support, but instead, she’s facing everything alone.
In the wake of this painful loss, I want to help Cianna and honor my aunt Mylah’s memory. But, with no plans for such a sudden loss, Cianna is now faced with immediate costs for funeral and memorial arrangements, along with the ongoing financial challenges of moving forward without Mylah.
We’re kindly asking for your help to ease the financial burden we’re facing right now. Your donations will go directly toward funeral costs, memorial services, and helping Mylah’s family as they begin the long road to healing.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us through this heartbreaking time and keeping Mylah’s memory alive.
