In Memory of Omar Martinez Rosell – sudden loss

It is with broken hearts and sadness that we share the unexpected and sudden passing of Omar (Markos) Martinez Rosell on December 31st, 2022. Omar is loved by his wife, Litsa, his three children, Alex, Eva and Liam, and family and friends in Canada and abroad. He emigrated to Canada in 1999, and helped to build a life in Toronto with his wife. He was a gifted songwriter, producer and musician, and will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him. His memory will live on through his beautiful children, his family and his music.

We are devastated by Omar’s unexpected death at the age of 51. He leaves behind a young family, three teenage children. Many people have asked how to support and help through this difficult time. This fundraising effort has been created to support his family, and all proceeds will go directly to the Martinez Family. A trust for their children will be established with these funds, and the funds raised will help lighten the financial burden this family is facing.
