Sudden loss of Kellsie—Fatal traffic collision

Donation protected
My name is Kristyn Ochoa, and I am raising funds for my family and I to be able to put my sister to complete rest. This will be for all funeral expenses, any medical expenses that were not covered through her insurance and for anything else the family needs to lay our beautiful girl to rest.
Just for a little background: I am the big sister of Kellsie Christine. For the first 10 years of my life, I begged my mom for a little sister. Somewhere in between the beginning of those 10 years, my mother met her new husband, and with that, I started begging my mom and my dad for a little sister. She was everything I wanted. Everything I needed. Finally, all of our dreams came true. I remember being pulled out of school in the pouring rain to rush to the hospital to see her, the little girl I was able to name, the little girl that we all loved more than life itself. Watching her grow throughout the years was my absolute favorite. Seeing the wonderful artist she had become throughout the years. Listening to her music taste change because of all the music her big sissy listened to. Watching her go from playing with Barbie’s and bratz dolls, to becoming insanely talented at playing PC games. Seeing her preform as a flute player, just like our mom and myself. Seeing her excited to go to fair and dress up with our dad. I could go on and on, but ultimately, I love that we were able to watch her grow into the beautiful woman she was. She was beyond amazing. Beyond loved. Beyond beautiful. And with that, we are beyond grateful that she was ours.
In Lancaster, Ca, 20th St E and Ave J-8, March 16, 2024 I received a call that no one wants. My sister, her best friend and her best friends mother were on their way to work, to a local comic book store. They had literally just left. Not even 5 minutes. Their light had turned green, and so they started to go, westbound. As they started moving, another vehicle traveling southbound, was not paying attention to the red light in front of them OR was just rushing through, we still are not too sure. What I am sure about is that, the vehicle who did not stop for their red light, ran right into the passenger side of the car that my sister was in. Kellsie was sitting in the front passenger seat and that is were the main impact was. Due to the front passenger side being the main impact, Kellsie did not make it as they were on their way to the hospital. She passed away during transport.
Kellsie had just turned 18 in September. She was so young, and her life was just supposed to start. Our whole family is in complete shock by this terrible event.
Any donation and every share of this would be so greatly appreciated. If you could please keep the Evola family in your prayers, that would also be appreciated.
Thank you everyone for any of your time to read through this, for any donation for our family and for every share this gets.

**IMPORTANT EDIT** I did increase the main fundraising goal due to the fact that more donations are coming in, only because I have recently heard horror stories of others trying to withdraw from the site and those people having issues due to the donations being more than the goal! THANK YOU!
