Sudden Loss of Beloved Husband and Father

Our dear friend, local sixth-grade teacher, and former CASA Advocate, Malaina Wells-Watson, lost her husband of 20 years unexpectedly this week. As she begins to navigate life raising three children on her own without her beloved partner, we lovingly ask for your support. No contribution is too small, as many hands make light work.

Her husband and the primary breadwinner, Jan Watson, was a devoted father and husband. He could usually be found in his chef's apron, making sure his family was well-nourished and nurtured. As guests, their friends were always treated to a special meal and stimulating conversation. An avid traveler, he was an art and music aficionado and an unwavering Tottenham football supporter. He will be dearly missed in mind, body and spirit.
