The Olivas family is saddened to share the news that David Olivas has passed away. The Olivas Family are open to any donations to help them through this difficult time.

David was a husband, father, friend, mentor, and colleague. To most friends and colleagues David interacted with on a daily basis, he was the guy you called if you were stuck, he was the guy you would call if you had an emergency, he was the guy you would call if you just wanted to share a laugh about your daily struggles.

David and Heather spent all of their time together since their teenage years planning out the next steps of their dreams. David and Jade spent the recent years sharing a passion for playing music, specifically guitar. David and Jaxon spent the recent years flying drones, playing video games and geeking out over all things tech/engineering.

There was no problem too big David couldn’t solve when it came to his expertises. A decorated IT Engineer/Advisor with countless years of taking companies and organizations to a whole new level of excellence, David was truly one of a kind. RTM, Read the Manual was a philosophy he whole heartedly embraced and promoted. The IT “Observability” community has loss one of its greats. Splunkbot9000 has signed off.
