Hi, I am setting up this fundraiser on behalf of my dad, Peter Manos.

My dad is facing an unimaginable reality: the sudden loss of his two brothers, Steve Manos and George Manos. They passed away tragically just three weeks after moving to start a new chapter in Welch, West Virginia. My dad is now the lone surviving brother and is solely responsible for bringing them home to Massachusetts. We have set an urgent goal of $10,000. This amount covers the minimum viable costs required to fulfill his duty, including the two cremations, emergency pet care, and final arrangements.

This message is directly from my dad, Peter Manos:

"I am heartbroken to share the sudden and unexpected loss of my two beloved brothers, Steve and George. Only three weeks after relocating from Florida to start a new chapter in their home in Welch, West Virginia, they tragically passed away together. Losing both of them at once has left me devastated beyond words.

We were raised in Jamaica Plain by our mother Mary, and the three of us were extremely close all these years. That bond never faded; it grew stronger over the years. Losing Steve and George has left a hole in my life that can never be filled.

Steve and George shared a love for cars, especially classic sport cars and just sport cars in general. As well loving the timeless music of The Beatles. They were excited about the future they were building. Their sudden passing makes this loss even more painful and difficult to process.

An immediate crisis arose with their two beloved dogs, who were left alone in the home for over a week after their passing. Surviving only thanks to a bag of kibble left by a trooper, the dogs were in distress and desperately needed medical care. I traveled from Massachusetts with my son, daughter, and nephew to rescue the dogs and bring them to safety, where they are now receiving the medical attention and love they need.
