Sudden House Fire has us in a bind
Hi my name is Jennifer (Aka: Nicole) we recently had a house fire early fathers day morning around 3am. I woke up to smelling something funny and thought it was my phone charging cable when I realized it wasn't, I got up to investigate and check to see if any outlets were acting up. Soon as I turn to the dining room all I saw was flames through my front window. I rush too wake up my husband and grab my 1yr old. We got out in time and thankfully for once my husband was not working a graveyard shift and was able to get the fire somewhat under control until the Fire department arrived. He got scolded by police because he kept going inside the house trying to check the attic before department arrived. (Hate to think what would have happened if he wasn't home that night) House was still smoking due to the fire reaching into the attic, thankfully fire department was able to take care of it. Unfortunately, due to all the water they had to spray up there to get any hot spots , caused a lot of water damage inside and a portion of our ceiling to cave in as well. My husband isn't one to ask for help and will use every last penny he has before seeking help at all, as his wife I see how hard this is hitting us, him, the stress from collage and being the man of the house, to readjusting where "home" is at the moment he is barely keeping face. Trying to come up with deductible and not knowing how long insurance will take, to our youngest son having to get 2 teeth removed due to milk rot soon, daycare still charging weekly no matter the issues, bills and expenses keep adding up and we are falling behind steadily and surely. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and mean a lot to us in this hard time, especially me for trying to ease some of his worries over all this. As stubborn as he can be... I'm sure this was not the father's day he invisioned, but life happens and accidents happen. All we can do is try to go with the flow without falling to hard.
