Sudden death of Mychail Smich

In shock and heartbreak, we share the sad news of a loss. Olia Smich and the family suffered an unexpected and tremendous loss to their family- husband, father, grandpa, brother and uncle, and a friend to many. Mychail Smich passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 14th, 2020 at the age of 57. Leaving behind his beloved wife Olia, 5 kids (Myron, Mike Jr, Marian, Andrey and Halia), much loved daughter-in-law Ulia and  4 grandkids.

As a family, we can't wrap our heads around this reality. Mychail (uncle Mike) had a big personality, smiling and joking, singing loud for all to hear, never afraid to make new friends, leaving everyone with a "God bless you." This loss will be felt forever, and the tough days are just beginning. This page is set up to help Olia with navigating through the funeral arrangements, household bills and situations in this new chapter in her life. We appreciate everyone who has reached out with words of encouragement, prayers and offers to help physically and financially. May you all be blessed tenfold!
