Support for Sudarsanan Santhanam Family

Our beloved Sudarsanan Santhanam (Age 35) has left us all stranded in this world after valiantly fighting for his health due to sudden onset GBS (Guillain-Barré syndrome) for the past few weeks and attained acharyan thiruvadi at 6:45 AM IST on 18/12/2018 and ascended to the paramapadam. He is survived by his wife Aruna and a lovely son Ragunandanan(8). He was a great son, brother, teacher, husband, father and a friend.
Sudarsananan was working as a Sanskrit professor at the Sri Ahobila Math Veda Prabandha Adarsh Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya at Madhurantakam and taught Nyaya, Prak Siromani (the equivalent of Plus one and Plus two), Madhyama Siromani (B.A.) and M.A. and was greatly revered by his students. His dedication to Vedic studies was unparalleled and many of his students are recipients of the prestigious President's Gold Medal and are well placed in their personal and professional lives. With his healthcare treatment and support taking all the toll on his and family's finances, we need all your help with funding and support at this most needful time. Fund Disbursement details:
1. Funds will be withdrawn by Vivek Raghunathan personally into a US-based bank account (minus the Gofundme fees of around 3%) and will be sent to the beneficiaries, Padmavathy S and Raghunandanan S in India once the campaign is complete using a money transfer service on that day's exchange rate.
2. Funds will strictly be used for the family welfare of Sudarsanan and for the education of Raghunandanan. The funds will be split into three buckets.
a. A fixed deposit under Padmavathy S, so she will start receiving the interest as monthly installments immediately for the family welfare
b. A fixed deposit for Raghunandanan S, which will mature in 10 years and he will have access to the funds for his higher education purposes
c. An immediate payoff for medical expenses incurred by Sudarsanan's family (~4 Lakhs INR)
Both of the fixed deposit accounts will be monitored by Late Sudarsanan's father U. Ve. Santhanam (who will be staying with the family going forward) and his sister Mrs. Preethi Rajanbabu's family to make sure the funds are utilized properly and go to the welfare of Sudarsanan's family and to make his unfulfilled dreams come true.
