Sudanese artists to continue art studies in Kenya

Hello kind souls,
My name is Ammar, a Sudanese visual artist who has lived through war, loss, and displacement — yet still believes in the power of art to heal and to connect us as human beings.
During the war in Sudan, I faced political challenges because of my artistic expression and my voice for freedom. I painted to survive — and I sold my artworks just to keep studying and to stay connected to my dream.
But as the conflict grew worse, I lost my home, my studio, and the safe space where I used to create.
Today, I have a rare chance to continue my art studies in Kenya, where I can live and create safely. I want to rebuild my life, continue learning, and share art that speaks for the people who have been silenced.
I’m asking for your kind help to raise $3,000, which will go toward:
Travel expenses to Kenya
First months of living and housing
Art materials and tuition fees
Every small donation is a light — a sign that hope still lives.
Your support will not only help me continue my education, but will also keep alive the voice of a young artist who refuses to stop dreaming despite war and exile.
