Thanks to everyone for all your support so far. We are overwhelmed by your generous donations. This financial help will help Subhan's wife, Aayesha and her 2 kids in the short term to pay the medical bills, clear some of home mortgage (so that they don't have to worry about a place to live) and college admission fees for his son (He just finished his 12th grade and was getting ready to start college) while they are still trying to cope up with the emotional loss and come up with a long term sustenance plan.
Also this update is to notify that we are very close family friends of Subhan and his wife Aayesha (She is a childhood friend of my wife since 30 years ). I will take full responsibility to transfer the entire amount to Aayesha's bank account in Hyderabad, India. This campaign was started with her permission and she authorized to withdraw the money on behalf of her and transfer it to her.

This GoFundMe campaign is to provide near term financial relief to the family of a dear friend after his passing last week.
Life completely changed for Subhan (Mohammed Abdul Mannan Khan) and his family on Thursday morning of July 16th, 2020. He had celebrated his 48th birthday a month ago, the first in 30 years upon his kids’ insistence. Neither he or his family imagined it would be his last.
The world’s pandemic had reached his doorstep. He tested positive the 1st week of July. He fought bravely for 10 days, up to the last second and left this world for a better place. May God bless him with a high level in Heaven.
Subhan was a dear friend to many. But to those closest, Subhan was everything; the most loving husband and father. He was also a son, a brother, a cousin, and uncle. Albeit of reserved and modest speech, he inspired with his patience, kindness, and gentleness. He changed this world one smile at a time. He leaves behind the most adoring family; a wife and 2 kids(18 and 16).
Dreams are shattered. The shock of his unexpected passing has left the family heartbroken and at a loss in more ways than one. His wife and kids are not only enduring the emotional hardship of this tragedy, they are left with a severe financial burden. Subhan was the sole breadwinner in his family.
While the family comes to grips with “What’s next?” and “How do we continue the dreams we had together?”, we ask that as a community we lend a hand financially to this family in need. Subhan had big dreams for his kids. Let’s humbly join hands to help them realize those dreams. The funds raised will be completely used for their near-term sustenance and future of their kids.
Most of all, please keep his wife, his kids and entire family in your prayers as they begin this long journey without Subhan. May God make it easy for them.
