Thank you for clicking on my page link. My Name is Mahkai Hunt and I’m a rising sophomore at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN. As a Pre-Law student at Macalester, I’m majoring in Political Science with a concentration in Legal Studies. After college, I plan to attend law school to achieve my life-long dream of becoming an attorney. In addition to my participation in the Bonner program, I'm also a coordinator of Spring Fest, our campus's biggest student-led event. I’m asking for your support because my mother recently suffered a workplace accident requiring wrist surgery. This injury will keep her out of work for most, if not all, of my first semester. Because of my academic success, I’ve earned scholarships that help with the cost of tuition, but with my mom out of work for the foreseeable future I have no one to help me pay off my tuition this year.
