Helping Vinny Mac
Donation protected
My cousin Vincent DiStefano was in a terrible car accident on Sunday, September 6, 2015. He suffered severe traumatic brain injury and has been in the ICU unit at Westchester Medical Center. Anyone who knows Vincent can't help but love him. He has a big heart and would give you the shirt off of his back if he could. When Vincent was born, he was born with Apert Syndrome, which is a bone deformality. He underwent over 30 surgeries since he was 6 months old. He never let this get to him. He has always had a positive outlook on life and doesn't care about what anyone says or thinks. When he walks into a room he shines! He is loved by all who know him. Vincent is making strides in the hospital slowly and will shortly be on the road to a very long recovery. We are so thankful to the hospital and the staff for the amazing care he is receiving. It is clear that the emotional and financial cost of this road to recovery will not be easy. Our entire family has pulled together and is helping, but it's not enough. It is very difficult to put an amount on this funding. No one really knows what lies ahead and what it will cost. My aunt hasn't been able to work since the accident and will be Vincent's primary caregiver. I would like to help lessen the financial burden this will cause. There are many bills that need to get paid and other living expenses, while Vincent gets the care he needs. At this point, no one really knows what lies ahead, but we know it will be a long road and costly. Please know that your support means a great deal to my family. I thank you in advance to whatever contribution you can make, it is greatly appreciated. Please share with friends and family to help support Vincent's(aka Vinny Mac) road to recovery.
